The Legion 5k Adult Wave Times
The Legion 5k Adult waves are for participants ages 18 and up. There will be 20 Obstacles of varying difficulty with some water obstacles included. The course includes water stations along the route & instructors at each obstacle to provide information & support. If you are unable (or unwilling) to complete the obstacle, an alternative “penalty” activity will be available.

The Legion 5k Family Wave Times

The Legion 1mi Cadet Wave Times
The Legion Cadet 1mi Course is a shortened running course with 10 obstacles including some with water. This Course is intended for children ages 10-17 to participate without their parents. Parents will not be able to participate in the children’s waves but there will be attendants at each obstacle to assist children on the course.

What To Bring
· Photo Identification – (Children 10yo-17yo will need their guardian to bring their ID if they do not have their own.)
· Extra Funds for Merch or Food (Food Trucks will be located in the Parking area)
· Extra Clothes, Towel, Shoes, Seat Cover, etc to keep your car clean after the race
· We will have plastic seat covers available for purchase ($1 each), if needed

What NOT to Bring
· Pets
· Alcohol
· Weapons
· Glass

Bag Check
A supervised bag check service is available and is located in the Basecamp. The Legion Race is NOT responsible for any items left anywhere, with anyone (including event volunteers/workers) outside of our Bag Check area. A 9in x 12in plastic bags will be provided, free of charge, (if needed) for phone, keys, water bottle, etc. or you may bring your own.

Wash Off Station
We will have a wash off station with running water. Bring extra clothes, shoes, towels, etc. with you in your vehicle to change into. We also sell plastic car seat covers so you don’t dirty up your car!

Refund Policy
The Legion Race adheres to a strict NO REFUNDS under any circumstances policy, unless the Event is cancelled by The Legion Race.

Transfers:
You may TRANSFER your registration to someone else, change your running (wave) time, or switch to another Legion Race future event date by emailing [email protected] with “TRANSFER” in the subject line. A wave time cannot be changed to a FULL wave time.

DEADLINES for Pre-Event changes:
Switching registrants (transfer) or changing your wave time must be completed at least 7 days prior to the event date to allow The Legion Race staff to process the request and forward a confirmation receipt.

Transfers and wave time changes can also be made on the day of the event at the venue (see below).

Transfer Your Registration to Someone Else (Day of Event):

The new participant must bring their I.D. and a copy of the ORIGINAL PARTICIPANT’S CONFIRMATION EMAIL to the “New Registration” line at the registration tent. Arrive at least one hour prior to their desired running (wave) time. There is a $10 fee (cash only) to make this change. The original registrant does not need to be present, they simply need to provide the new registrant with their original confirmation email.

Change Your Wave Time (Day of Event)
Arrive one hour prior to the wave time you want to run in, and head to the “New Registration” line at the registration tent. The fee is $10 (cash only) to make this change. Wave times cannot be changed to a FULL wave time.

Frequently Asked Questions & Info

– THE BASICS
After purchasing your ticket, a receipt will be emailed to the email provided. This will be the email address that we send important updates to including delays, postponements, & cancelations. If you are purchasing more than 1 ticket, you will receive an email to provide information for the other registrants. If you are paying for a ticket for someone else & you are not participating, please add their First & Last with “Registration” in the subject line with your registrant’s first & last name, date of birth, phone number, & email address. This information allows for smooth check-in on Event Day.

Event Parking
Parking is FREE. You must park in the area designated by our event staff only. No parking on streets or roads or adjacent lots allowed. There are accommodations for drop-offs inside the venue gates without charge. Because space is limited, workers in yellow vests will instruct you where to park your vehicle.

Spectators
Spectators are welcome, free of charge. Spectators have access to the Festival Area Only (start and finish line) – No Course Access. Course sight-lines and obstacle visibility is limited and not guaranteed. Children 9 and under may attend (as spectators) but must be supervised at all times by an adult not participating in the current race. All spectators must sign the liability waiver to access the venue upon entry. See waiver. No Pets Allowed. Chairs &/or Blankets welcome. Cheering Area will not be covered so Sunscreen also encouraged for all. [waiver hyperlink]

Get There Early!

You should arrive at least one hour before your wave time. The registrant on file must match a photo I.D. Checking in to the run requires a photo ID of the registrant or the registrant’s guardian for ages 10-17yo and a participant waiver will be signed during check in. Feel free to read the Waiver prior to the Event date. [waiver hyperlink]

All registered runners will be issued a wave time specific bib assigned to your purchase. The 5K running bibs will allow you access to the 5K course while the 1mi running bibs will allow you to access the 1mi course. You may change your wave time the day of the event at the venue. See the header MAKING CHANGES for more details below

Check-in will remain open until 15 minutes before the last wave of the event.

Cadet 1mi Course:
A parent or guardian will pick up bibs for minors. Your children do not need an I.D. for check-in but the guardian signing the waiver for the child will need to present an I.D. Adults are allowed to register for the 1mi course to assist their child on the course during Family Waves only. There will be Staff & Volunteers at each obstacle to assist children as needed, as well as driving ATVs around the course to monitor for injuries, stragglers, or any other problems that may occur between obstacles. If you are uncomfortable with your child running the race without you, please sign-up for a Family Wave time.

Pre-paid T-shirt Pickup
Online orders must be picked up at the Registration tent during Check-In on the day of the event. We do not ship, refund, or credit for items not picked up at the venue.
